MONACO - MONTE CARLO

We reached Monaco from Verona in about 4 hours. The traffic was very heavy for half the trip like it was yesterday from Ljubliana to Verona. A large number of trucks from all over the place.

The second half wasn't much better and included a lot of tunnels and viaducts as we crossed the Appennine mountains and on top of that a storm descended on us. Poor Cathy copped that lot, as it was her turn, and handled it very well. One gust of wind nearly blew us into the central road barrier as we emerged from the protection of a truck.
