Niagara Falls. The USA falls to the left and Canadian to the right. Down below are passengers boarding the “Maid of the Mist” boat ride.
Could be anywhere!
Proves we were there!
Now that’s a waterfall!
They’ve paid a lot of money to get wet but a thrill no doubt.
Do you feel the urge to go over the edge in a barrel?!
Just over the bridge in the background is the USA border where we whiled away an hour being processed.
The processing took five minutes and involved fingerprinting all fingers (“but not your toes!” – droll humour from officer) and a photograph using a cute little camera on a tripod. There were only a few waiting so what was going on the rest of the time is any ones guess, particularly as we had filled out forms via internet in Australia before we left. Whatever it was it took lots of serious people to do it!
We spend the night at Batavia Travelodge just off the highway. We used a Travelodge in Montreal and have been impressed by the facilities, including free internet. (AD!?)
