The work is to be carried out by a local "English speaking" tradesman.
Meanwhile work continues stabilizing the footpath adjacent to the ruin and between it and the chasm next to the house. 180 Kg of concrete have gone into it so far and possibly another 120 Kg needed. These jobs always take twice as long as I want to spend and double the materials estimated.
I had a bit of an altercation with the blob of cement attached to the end of the cement pipe a week ago. It won! I had my back to it with one foot on the edge of the cliff. In trying to transfer my weight from one foot to the other the edge broke away and I went down hard. The blob dug into my ribs. I don't think I've cracked a rib but it hurts when I cough or laugh! Getting easier every day.
The river Scorff, swollen after the heavy rain we have been having.
