WORLD CUP FEVER
15 July 2018
The soccer world cup is in progress in Russia.
We went to a local pub, L'Embuscade, to watch France play Croatia in the Final. We were seated with Bob and Andrea a Scottish couple who have a house near ours.
Local with a skin full giving us the benefit of his knowledge!

FLOWER GARDEN
Crab Apple tree chopped down and flower garden in its place
16th July. We baby sat Pat and Mary's dog, Phoebe, for three nights as Robbie needed to go into hospital with an infection. Pat stayed with him to act as interpreter.
Robbie is now back home and in good health.
Mary needed to be in Ireland to mark music examinations which the Irish government would not allow out of the country.

On our annual visit to Emmaus for the Grande Vente (Big Sale) . This is a sample of the car park in a farmers field opposite.
Emmaus is a Catholic charity organization and every year they hold a major sale where goods are pooled in one place from all their outlets. Always good for a bargain. Our entire house is furnished from items bought from Emmaus.
Had to rain sometime!
