BLOGGERS WORLD

Hello viewers (to coin a phrase from Paul Hogans half hour sitcoms before he became famous for Crocodile Dundee and other worldwide appearances). Also hello to our single follower - you know who you are and so do we (maybe inadvertently clicked on an icon while viewing our page!) - whatever, we are delighted to have you on board. You are not alone in viewing the blog we have had nearly 1300 hits since we began! The interesting thing is we have started to gather an international audience from places which to our knowledge we don't know anybody.

Germany - 6
Czech Republic - 2
Poland - 1

At first we were a bit nervous as we are about to visit Russia in three weeks but it's probable that certain key words are attracting attention via search engines such as "Stumbleupon" eg. Tour de France, Volvo Yacht Race and Bradley Air Museum. Anyway, if any of you folk in these countries are genuinely interested in us please make a comment.

We may not understand it but we'll do our best to get it translated!

Another thing is, because of the blog and us being here in France I have been taking an interest in Facebook. In the past I couldn't see the point of it because our day to day lives are pretty routine so why tell the world about it? Who'd be interested? Now we find that every so often one of our "friends" is doing something interesting and I'm glad to read about it if in a voyeuristic way! The trouble is our lives are so busy and there are so many people we'd like to keep in touch with it's more relaxing to say nothing. It's not that we don't care!!

We are now back in Australia and our Russian followers have lost interest a week ago. We also had a couple of Polish followers possibly because we visited there and they have dropped off also.
